Sangam Spices sources spices directly from Indian farms and sells them under the Spice Bazaar storefront out of Bhopal. The catalogue is the hard part: the same spice sold in four weights is four prices and four stock counts.
Challenge & Approach
Spices are a variant problem pretending to be a product problem. Every item needs per-weight pricing and per-weight stock, and the person managing it is not going to open a spreadsheet.
Indian checkout is also not one checkout. UPI through Google Pay, PhonePe and Paytm sits alongside cash on delivery, and the order flow has to treat both as normal.
- Per-size pricing and stock on a single product
- UPI and cash on delivery as equal citizens
- An admin the owner can actually run the shop from
- Discount codes that operations can create without a developer

The Solution
A full storefront and back office: browse by category, search the catalogue, wishlist, cart with a per-item cap, saved addresses and a checkout that handles UPI and cash on delivery. Behind it, an admin dashboard for products and variants, categories, orders and order status, discount codes, and account security including two-factor authentication.
Key features
- Products with per-weight variants, each with its own price and stock
- Category browsing, semantic-free keyword search and wishlists
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm) and cash on delivery
- Admin: catalogue, orders, discount codes, up to five images per product
- Free shipping over ₹500, applied at the cart
